Playing with mazes is a fun way for kids to improve problem solving skills and help improve handwriting skills too through fine motor control.
When we were teaching Gab to write, I came up with some easy mazes designed for 3 year old and for 4 year olds. They are very simple and ideal for beginners. But at their age, it is challenging enough. I used Gab’s favorite characters, The Minions, to make the mazes to get him excited in solving them.
His first try would be a mess. There would be lines passing through the walls. He would even turn to a dead end and be a bit disappointed. But we just encouraged him and soon he gets the hang of it.
Here are a few of simple The Minions Mazes. Feel free to print them out and enjoy.
