Silay City is often referred to as the “Paris of Negros” because of its artists, and the collection of preserved heritage mansions. The Department of Tourism considered the city as one of the top tourist destinations.
We have visited heritage spots in the city with friends for several times, and we love every trip. In celebration of the buwan ng wika, we joined fellow homeschoolers for a Silay Walking Tour as part of the lakbay-aral activity.

On our previous walks, we also got to visit one of the museums, the Manuel Hofilena Ancestral House and played at the playground too.
