Learn some Math skills with these Odd-Even Numbers Worksheets. Learning odd and even numbers are among the first math concepts being taught to kids. I made these worksheets extra special by using The Minions characters.
First, we taught what odd and even numbers are. There are plenty of ideas from other homeschoolers on how to teach odd-even numbers. The idea of pairing is the easiest to teach. If each count has a pair, it is even. If one count doesn’t have a pair it is odd. You can use real objects like marbles, blocks, and pasta shapes to illustrate this concept.
You can also teach that even numbers end with 2, 4, 6, 8, and 0 while odd numbers end with 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. But I would rather teach this later as a shortcut. It would even be amazing if the children figures it out by themselves.
You can practice Odd-Even Numbers using this online game from Doorway Online.
