DepEd has released the different learning delivery modalities under the Learning Continuity Plan. It now includes Homeschooling!
DepEd Learning Delivery Modalities for School Year 2020-2021
Blended Learning – allows for a combination of face to face, online, and modular learning delivery
Distance Learning – most viable for independent learners and learners supported by periodic supervision of parents of guardians
Homeschooling – provided learners with equal access to quality basic education at home, to be facilitated by qualified parents, guardians, or tutors who have undergone relevant training. Policy is under review

Apprenticeship – provides Senior High School learners with opportunities for actual immersion in workplace situations under the supervision of a certified practitioner
Face-to-face Learning – the traditional learning environment where the students and the teachers are both physically present in the classroom
Schools and community learning centers, under the guidance of DepEd Regional and Division offices, will be allowed to choose relevant and appropriate alternative learning delivery methods which best fit the context and/or health situation in their community.
DepEd school year will open nationwide on August 24, 2020 but traditional face-to-face learning in the classroom is not happenning yet.
